I am biased toward EIRCA, obviously, but I’d have to say that the biggest breakthrough service in the past five years in the reseller hosting industry was the Reseller Kit we developed with DIYHosting, back in 2003. I’d have to say that this is one of my fondest memories in the past 5+ years: Seeing that program splattered everywhere as a hot topic of discussion. Starting next week, probably Wednesday, we’ll be starting to test the backup software from “R1Soft” for introduction to our new upcoming service: The Vault. We can proudly introduce our new web site today and I flatly refuse to call it web 2.0 - what a crazy name: web 2.0. So when did web 1.0 get fazed out? “Web 2.0″ is a marketing term (an overused one) that I simply don’t like. I am told, however, that our web site is of the proposed look/feel/etc of a good web 2.0 web site. As I am against the term, I proudly dub this a new era in internet history: The first web 2.9 web site! (more…)
