The Vault now in project central (May 25, 2007)
We can now confirm that The Vault is now an official EIRCA Ltd project and has been posted for tracking on Project Central.
The Vault, which introduces Continuous Data Protection, will start with 2TB of storage with the option of expansion of storage space via both physical disks and Network Attached Storage disks. Click to track project in Project Central (EIRCA Live! registration required)
When completed and introduced, The Vault will offer live data protection. Content will be incremental and compressed. Resellers will be given three free restorations (current plan at time of writing) with each additional restoration costing $5 per restoration. Restorations resulting from server error will not be taken from per-reseller assignments.
What does this mean? It means that every file on every server will be subject to Continuous Data Protection, in the event of a disaster or even user-error, data will be restored within 30 minutes, at all times. We select which backup image to restore and do it via a private network for even more protection. The “outside world” can not sniff, intercept, see or even smell the backups, they never go out in to the public network.
We encourage resellers to offer this as a value added service to your clients. The Vault introduces data loss protection like never before.

Hii tawqee,
Yes: The restoration will be file specific. You can restore a single file, a folder, or the entire web root.
Thanks,
